Connect Zendesk and Revuloop will automatically send a CSAT (or any) survey to the requester the moment a ticket is marked Solved.
1. Connect Zendesk
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Zendesk and click Connect.
- Enter your Zendesk subdomain (the part before .zendesk.com).
- Approve the permissions. Revuloop requests access to create tickets, read users, and manage webhooks and triggers; the last two let us register the "ticket solved" automation for you.
Connected before this feature launched? Disconnect and reconnect once so Zendesk can grant the new webhook and trigger permissions.
2. Automatic Setup
The first time the connection is tested, Revuloop automatically creates inside your Zendesk account a webhook that points back to Revuloop (secured with a signing secret) and a trigger that fires when a ticket's status changes to Solved. You don't need to configure anything in Zendesk by hand.
3. Create the Survey Trigger
- Open the connected Zendesk integration and find Survey triggers.
- Set the event to ticket.solved, choose your CSAT survey, and pick Email as the channel (or SMS/WhatsApp if configured).
- The Email field defaults to ticket.requester.email. Leave it unless your payload differs.
- Click Add trigger.
The next solved ticket will email the requester your survey.
Optional: Conditions, Delay, Throttle
Expand Advanced to only fire for certain tickets (e.g. priority equals high), delay the send (e.g. 30 minutes after solve), or cap how often a requester is surveyed.
Troubleshooting
- No survey sent: confirm the survey is ACTIVE or DRAFT, the trigger is active (green power icon), and the ticket actually moved to Solved.
- A "reconnect" prompt: older connections lack webhook permissions, so disconnect and reconnect.
- Wrong or empty recipient: check that the Email field path matches your Zendesk payload.
- A ticket only triggers once, even if it is reopened and solved again.
