Workspaces help you organize surveys and team collaboration within your organization. Each workspace acts as a separate project area with its own surveys and member access.
What Are Workspaces?
- Project Containers: Group related surveys together
- Access Control: Assign members to specific workspaces
- Organization: Keep different teams or projects separate
- Color-Coded: Visually distinguish workspaces with custom colors
Creating a Workspace
- Go to Organization Settings
- Navigate to Workspaces
- Click Create Workspace
- Enter a name and optional description
- Choose a color for visual identification
- Add members
Workspace Roles
Members can have different roles within each workspace:
- Admin: Full workspace management, create/edit surveys
- Member: Create and manage their own surveys
- Viewer: View surveys and analytics (read-only)
These roles are independent of your organization-level role.
Assigning Surveys to Workspaces
When creating or editing a survey, you can assign it to a workspace. This helps keep related surveys grouped together and controls who can access them.
Default Workspace
Every organization has a default workspace. Surveys created without specifying a workspace are placed here. You can change the default workspace in settings.
Best Practices
- One workspace per project or team: Keep things organized
- Use descriptive names: Make it clear what each workspace is for
- Review membership regularly: Remove members who no longer need access
- Leverage workspace colors: Use consistent colors for quick visual identification
