Organization Structure

What is an Organization?

  • Central Hub: Manage all team members and surveys
  • Shared Resources: Tokens and surveys
  • Unified Billing: Single subscription for the entire team
  • Collaborative Platform: Team members can work together

Organization vs Personal Account

  • Personal: Individual use, single user, personal billing
  • Organization: Team use, multiple users, shared resources
  • Migration: Easily move from personal to organization

Team Roles and Permissions

Owner Role

  • Full Access: Complete control over organization
  • Billing Management: Manage subscriptions and payments
  • Member Management: Invite, remove, and change roles
  • Settings Control: Organization settings and preferences
  • Data Access: View all surveys and analytics

Admin Role

  • Team Management: Invite and manage members
  • Survey Access: Create, edit, and manage all surveys
  • Analytics Access: View all survey analytics
  • Organization Management: Manage organization settings
  • Limited Billing: Cannot change billing settings

Member Role (Editor Seat)

  • Survey Creation: Create and manage own surveys
  • Collaboration: Work on surveys they're invited to
  • Analytics Access: View analytics for their surveys
  • Survey Access: Access surveys they have permissions for
  • No Management: Cannot invite or manage other users

Viewer Role

  • Read-Only Access: Can view surveys and analytics but not modify
  • No Creation: Cannot create or edit surveys
  • Report Access: Can view analytics reports and dashboards
  • Cost Effective: Lower cost than editor seats

Responder Role

  • Response Only: Can only take/respond to surveys
  • No Dashboard Access: Cannot view surveys or analytics
  • No Creation: Cannot create new surveys
  • No Editing: Cannot edit existing surveys
  • External Use: Ideal for survey participants and external users

Managing Your Organization

Creating an Organization

  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Click "Create Organization"
  3. Enter organization name and details
  4. Choose your billing plan
  5. Invite team members

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to Organization Settings
  2. Click "Team Members"
  3. Click "Invite Member"
  4. Enter email address
  5. Select role (Admin, Member, or Viewer)
  6. Send invitation

Managing Invitations

  • Pending Invitations: View sent invitations
  • Resend Invitations: Resend if not received
  • Cancel Invitations: Remove pending invitations
  • Role Changes: Modify roles after acceptance

Removing Team Members

  1. Go to Organization Settings
  2. Find the team member
  3. Click "More Options"
  4. Select "Remove from Organization"
  5. Confirm removal
