Delighted is gone.
Your CX program shouldn't be.

Delighted built a great score-and-comment workflow in the 2010s, then Qualtrics acquired it in 2018 and let the product stagnate. Now Qualtrics has shut it down. Here's what that means, and what you get when you switch.

Delighted (discontinued by Qualtrics)

What leaving Delighted means

  • Discontinued by Qualtrics: Projects, Responses, embed Snippets, and integrations no longer work, and customer data was permanently deleted.
  • $224/month Premium floor, with six-figure quotes reported for migrating up to Qualtrics XM Suite.
  • Static Additional Questions. Every respondent saw the same follow-ups regardless of what they scored.
  • Smart Trends surfaced keywords but the rest was manual tagging in the comments inbox.
  • One-way CRM sync: push to Salesforce / HubSpot, no triggers back into the survey workflow.
  • No public roadmap since the 2018 acquisition. No AI generation, no MCP, no Embed SDK successor.
Revuloop (AI-Native)

What Revuloop gives you

  • Active platform with weekly releases, public roadmap, and a free plan you can use long-term.
  • Self-serve pricing: free, $19/mo Starter, $49/mo Pro, $149/mo Business. No discovery call, no MSA.
  • Adaptive AI follow-ups: 2-4 questions per response, tailored to the score and the comment.
  • 4-phase AI analytics: themes, sentiment, segments, and root causes auto-extracted across every response.
  • Native inbound triggers, a solved Zendesk ticket or closed Intercom conversation auto-sends a survey, plus REST API + HMAC webhooks for any other CRM or product event.
  • 99+ REST endpoints, HMAC webhooks, Embed SDK, and a 30+ tool MCP server for Claude / Cursor / Windsurf.

One NPS score of 3.
Three adaptive follow-ups.

In Delighted, a detractor left a comment and you read it later. In Revuloop, the survey keeps the conversation going while the frustration is fresh.

Delighted vs. Revuloop, line by line.

Where Delighted still has muscle memory in your CX team, and where everything you lost at shutdown has a better replacement.

Future of the platform

Discontinued by Qualtrics. Projects, responses, embed Snippets, and the dashboard have been retired, and customer data was permanently deleted at shutdown.

Active product, public roadmap, weekly releases. Free plan and self-serve paid tiers. Sign up and start collecting feedback the same day.

Survey types

NPS, CSAT, CES, 5-star, Smileys, Thumbs, eNPS, PMF. Every Project was a score-and-comment template plus up to 10 Additional Questions.

Same metric templates (NPS, CSAT, CES, 5-star, emoji, thumbs, eNPS, PMF) plus a full builder with 20+ question types, and AI Generate that drafts a working survey from a one-line description in seconds.

Distribution platforms

Offered email, Web Snippet, Link, SMS, Kiosk, mobile SDK, and Embed: well-rounded.

Email invitations, direct link, QR code, social share, and an Embed SDK that's a drop-in replacement for the Delighted Web Snippet, with SMS and WhatsApp launching soon.

Adaptive follow-ups

Additional Questions were static. You wrote the follow-up text once and every respondent saw the same questions regardless of what they scored or said.

Smart Surveys generate 2–4 adaptive follow-ups per respondent in real time, tailored to the score and the comment. Interview-depth qualitative on every response.

Comment analysis

Smart Trends surfaced keyword clusters; the rest was manual tagging in the comments inbox. No theme + sentiment + root-cause pipeline.

4-phase AI analytics: themes, sentiment, segments, and root causes auto-extracted across every response. Executive summary writes itself.

Closed-loop CX program

Delighted measured CX well (NPS/CSAT/CES scores, trends, and reports), and could alert Slack and push to your CRM, but it didn't run the loop itself: no built-in case management with SLAs or account-level health rollup. Closing the loop happened in your CRM.

Revuloop measures and closes the loop in one place: an NPS/CSAT/CES/sentiment scorecard (free), auto-opened cases with SLAs and real-time detractor alerts to Slack/Teams (Pro), plus exec/role dashboards and account-level health (Business): self-serve and AI-native.

Recurring sends

Autopilot staged sends across recipients at 3 / 6 / 12-month cadences, with Throttling to prevent oversampling.

Scheduled sends with per-recipient frequency caps and audience throttling. Covers the same use case.

Reports

Offered Snapshot, Over time, Pivot table, and Benchmarks. A fixed report set designed for the score-and-comment workflow.

Snapshot + Over-time analytics, segment pivots, AI Overview, exportable to CSV / Excel / PDF, and a streaming analytics API.

Integrations

Offered Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Segment, Shopify, Klaviyo, Okta, OneLogin, and Zapier: push-only for most CRMs.

Slack, Zendesk, Intercom, Segment, Notion, Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Zapier, Make, plus native inbound triggers (a solved Zendesk ticket or closed Intercom conversation auto-sends a survey) and any system via REST API and HMAC-signed webhooks.

Developer surface

Offered a REST API + Webhooks + Web Snippet (solid documentation, paginated endpoints), all retired at shutdown.

99+ REST endpoints, HMAC-signed webhooks, Embed SDK, partner provisioning API, and a 30+ tool MCP server for Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code.

AI assistant integration

None. Qualtrics shipped Experience Agents in 2025, inside enterprise XM contracts, and still no public MCP server.

One-command MCP install for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, and n8n. Read dashboards, surveys, and responses from your AI assistant.

Pricing floor

Free tier capped at 25 responses; the cheapest paid tier was Premium at $224/month, Premium Plus $449/month. Six-figure XM Suite quotes reported for enterprise migrations to Qualtrics.

Free plan (150 responses/mo, 200 AI tokens). Starter $19/mo. Pro $49/mo. Business $149/mo. Annual pricing available. No procurement, no per-seat fees.

Migration path

None: Qualtrics steered customers up-market to XM Suite, and customer data was permanently deleted at shutdown.

One-click wizard live in-product (Settings → Import Data). Drop your Delighted JSON, confirm the mapping, done: historical responses backfilled with original timestamps preserved and idempotent reruns. CSV / JSON contacts import + Node script also documented for API-first teams.

Test before you send

No pre-launch testing. You find out a question was confusing after you have already sent it.

Run your draft past AI respondents first. They answer it, then tell you which questions confused them and where they would have quit. On every plan, including free.

Works inside your AI assistant

No connector for AI assistants. Anything an agent does has to be built against the API first.

Paste one URL into Claude, Cursor or Windsurf and sign in. Your assistant then builds surveys, launches them and tells you what came back. On every plan, no API key.

Strong score-and-comment workflow that built the modern NPS playbook, now discontinued by Qualtrics.

AI-native NPS / CSAT / CES platform with adaptive follow-ups, automated theme analysis, and a public API. Still being built.

Everything Delighted did. Plus the AI it never shipped.

Score-and-comment templates, recurring sends, throttling, and the Snippet embed: covered. Adaptive AI, automated themes, and bidirectional CRM: added.

Adaptive AI Follow-Ups

Every NPS, CSAT, or CES score triggers context-aware follow-up questions: the interview-depth qualitative Delighted's static Additional Questions never delivered.

AI Survey Generation

Describe what you want to learn: Revuloop produces a working NPS, CSAT, CES, 5-star, emoji, thumbs, eNPS, or PMF survey in under 10 seconds.

Automated Theme + Sentiment Analysis

4-phase AI pipeline auto-extracts themes, sentiment, segments, and root causes across every response. No manual tagging, no CSV crunching.

Closes the Loop, Not Just Measures

Delighted measured scores and trends; Revuloop adds the loop: auto-opened cases with SLAs, real-time detractor alerts to Slack/Teams, and exec dashboards with account-level health.

Open Developer Surface

99+ REST endpoints, HMAC-signed webhooks, Embed SDK, partner provisioning API, and an MCP server for Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf: all public, documented, self-serve.

Enterprise-Ready Without the Enterprise Tax

Single sign-on (SSO) with automatic user provisioning, role-based access, HMAC webhooks, GDPR with signed DPA, and bidirectional CRM sync: included on Business plan.

Transparent, Self-Serve Pricing

Free plan to start. Starter $19/mo. Pro $49/mo. Business $149/mo. No discovery call, no MSA, no $224/mo floor and no six-figure XM upsell.

Self-serve migration

Move your Delighted data to Revuloop
in an afternoon.

No sales call, no scoping deck, no “professional services” line item. Open the one-click wizard inside your Revuloop org, drop your Delighted JSON, hit confirm.

Available now

One-click migration wizard, live in your dashboard.

Sign in to your Revuloop org and head to Settings → Import Data. Drop your Delighted JSON export, confirm the survey type and title, hit Start import. Original created_at/updated_at timestamps come with you; reruns are idempotent on the Delighted response id.

Drag-and-drop JSON export: accepts the bare response array, { responses: [...] }, or { data: [...] }
Maps score, comment, and Additional Questions to the right Revuloop question types automatically
Backfills historical responses with original startedAt / completedAt timestamps preserved
Idempotent: Delighted response id stored in Response.sourceDetails so reruns never duplicate
Webhook suppression on by default so subscribers aren't flooded with backfilled events
Per-project: run the wizard once per Delighted Project (NPS, CSAT, CES, eNPS, 5-star, smileys, thumbs, PMF)

Prefer the API path? The six self-serve steps below use the same endpoints: same outcome, just more typing.

  1. 01Find your Delighted export.Before shutdown, Project → Settings → Export produced a CSV, and GET /v1/survey_responses.json and GET /v1/people.json returned the full JSON dump. If you saved a Delighted export before shutdown, use that: Recipients, Responses, and your Project config are all you need.
  2. 02Sign up for Revuloop Free.150 responses/month and 200 AI tokens included. Create an organization, invite your team, and grab a TEST API key from Settings → API Keys so you can move data programmatically.
  3. 03Recreate each Delighted Project as a Revuloop survey.Use AI Generate with a one-line description (“Post-checkout NPS for an ecommerce store, English, with comment and one follow-up”). You get a working NPS / CSAT / CES / 5-star / emoji / thumbs / eNPS / PMF survey in under 10 seconds. Adjust wording to match your Delighted original.
  4. 04Import your Recipients.Drop your Delighted contacts CSV (or JSON) into POST /api/v1/respondents/import as multipart/form-data: up to 10,000 records per file. Person properties and segmentation tags survive the import.
  5. 05Backfill historical responses (optional).Run the example Node script below against POST /api/v1/surveys/:id/responses. Each row preserves the original created_at and updated_at timestamps via startedAt and completedAt, and stores Delighted's response id in metadata.sourceId so reruns dedupe safely.
    #!/usr/bin/env node
    // Delighted → Revuloop response backfill (excerpt).
    // Full script: /migration/delighted-to-revuloop.js

    const rows = JSON.parse(fs.readFileSync(inputPath, "utf8"));

    for (const r of rows) {
      await post({
        answers: [
          { questionId: PRIMARY_QID, value: r.score },
          { questionId: COMMENT_QID, value: r.comment },
        ],
        respondentEmail: r.person?.email,
        startedAt: new Date(r.created_at * 1000).toISOString(),
        completedAt: new Date(r.updated_at * 1000).toISOString(),
        metadata: {
          sourceId: String(r.id), // dedupe key for reruns
          sourceTool: "delighted",
          notes: r.notes,
          tags: r.tags,
          properties: r.person_properties,
        },
      });
    }

    Full script (with auth headers, error handling, and CLI usage): /migration/delighted-to-revuloop.js

  6. 06Swap the Snippet and re-point your integrations.Replace the Delighted Web Snippet on your site with the Revuloop Embed SDK, then re-point Slack / Zendesk / Segment and your CRM to Revuloop's HMAC-signed webhooks. Archive the Delighted project once you've verified the new survey is live.
